About Found Objects
About Found Objects
Found Objects was inspired by the sentimental act of collecting and how they serve as a vessel to our past.
Growing up in Florida, I spent most of my childhood outdoors, exploring and collecting. It was a slow-paced lifestyle that nurtured a child’s natural curiosity, and my bedroom was filled with shells, rocks, and little treasures from my adventures. This collection is a time capsule of that carefree, exploratory spirit. It celebrates the beauty of creating something meaningful from personal and
sentimental items, much like I did as a child.
At its core, this collection stands in opposition to hyper-consumerism and the fleeting trends fueled by influencer culture and social media. Instead, it’s about honoring the earth, practicing gratitude for what it has already given us, and finding beauty in the natural and imperfect rather than in manufactured perfection.
