Product Details

Designed around objects found in nature, every piece of cocoatemyshoes jewelry is one of a kind.

Handmade in Los Angeles.

Composition and Care

Cowhide leather, mother of pearl shell

Delicate by nature — handle with care to prevent scratching or chipping of shell.

Avoid prolonged exposure to water, oils, perfumes, or direct sunlight. When not in use, store your leather belt flat or loosely rolled in a cool, dry place.

To clean, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth. For deeper care, apply a leather-specific cleaner or conditioner sparingly—avoiding the mother of pearl shell buckle—and always test on a small, inconspicuous area first.

Leather is a natural material and may develop unique character and patina over time—this is part of what makes each piece one of a kind.

About Found Objects

Found Objects was inspired by the sentimental act of collecting and how they serve as a vessel to our past.

Growing up in Florida, I spent most of my childhood outdoors, exploring and collecting. It was a slow-paced lifestyle that nurtured a child’s natural curiosity, and my bedroom was filled with shells, rocks, and little treasures from my adventures. This collection is a time capsule of that carefree, exploratory spirit. It celebrates the beauty of creating something meaningful from personal and
sentimental items, much like I did as a child.

At its core, this collection stands in opposition to hyper-consumerism and the fleeting trends fueled by influencer culture and social media. Instead, it’s about honoring the earth, practicing gratitude for what it has already given us, and finding beauty in the natural and imperfect rather than in manufactured perfection.
